Mr. Butterfield has over 22 years of experience handling claims. A native of Portland, Oregon, Mr. Butterfield is a CPCU, graduate of Portland State University and has a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. He began his insurance claims career with Farmers Insurance in 1986. Mr. Butterfield has been handling medical malpractice and long term care claims since 1993 when he joined Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland/Professionals Advocate Insurance Company, a PIAA member company. He spent 11 years managing the Virginia office of Medical Mutual including the supervision of medical malpractice and long term care claims. Mr. Butterfield most recently served as a Vice President for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery National Insurance Company in Chicago. Mr. Butterfield serves our clients from Richmond, Virginia. |
