Gary Benton began his professional career with the St. Paul Companies and has 29 years of experience. During 22 years with St. Paul, Mr. Benton served as a medical malpractice specialist, supervisor, and manager. In 2002, Mr. Benton co-founded and served as president of a regional healthcare liability TPA. He has an extensive background in hospital, practitioner and long term care claim handling and litigation management. A native of Iowa, Mr. Benton obtained his business degree from the University of South Dakota. His professional designations include Associate in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America and Senior Claim Law Associate from the American Educational Institute.
