Allison Funicelli’s claim handling career began in 1987 with Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company and continued with Caronia Corporation, St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company and OneBeacon Professional Partners. Prior to joining Hamlin & Burton, she was with IronHealth where she served as Vice President of Claims managing hospital, physician, long-term care and general liability claims staff. Ms. Funicelli's experience includes conducting audits and acting as a consultant with underwriting and marketing departments. She has worked with complex policies and custom insurance programs including captive reinsurance, quota-share arrangements, fully funded programs and loss portfolio transfers. In addition to service as a Litigation Manager, Ms. Funicelli oversees cyber liability for Hamlin & Burton. Ms. Funicelli graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in Community Medicine. Ms. Funicelli also earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in healthcare from Long Island University. Ms. Funicelli holds CCLA, ACHE, ARM designations.
