Desiree Giordano graduated from Iona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Ms. Giordano began her professional career as a paralegal in 1987. After earning her law degree from Pace University School of Law in 1994, Ms. Giordano practiced law as a medical malpractice litigator for 4 years before transitioning to the insurance industry. Ms. Giordano has since worked for AIG, ACE and CNA where she focused on the management of long-term care, medical malpractice and other complex/high exposure professional liability claims. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Giordano is experienced in conducting claims audits in the U.S. and in Puerto Rico. Ms. Giordano joined Hamlin & Burton in 2009.
