Richard Curry has over 20 years experience handling claims, including 18 years with long term care, physician, and hospital claims. Mr. Curry began his insurance career with Metropolitan Property and Liability Insurance Company in 1988. In 1990 Mr. Curry joined Healthcare Underwriters Mutual Insurance Company and Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company handling long term care, physician, hospital, and allied health professional claims throughout the Northeast. In 2001 Mr. Curry became the Assistant Regional Claims Manager. In addition to supervising the claims department, Rich continued to handle his own files, was heavily involved in the development of a proprietary claims software program and conducted education seminars for nursing homes. He is a native of New York and a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economic Crime Investigation. Mr. Curry serves our clients out of our Albany, NY office as Vice President of Claims.
