Sharon Johnson began her healthcare professional liability claims career in 1986 with a large, self-insured, statewide-integrated healthcare delivery system in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was followed by a national position when she joined MMI Companies and then The St. Paul, where she provided claim management services to healthcare providers across the country. Sharon is experienced in providing a distinctive blend of traditional claim management and consultative services that include litigation management, reserve analysis, evaluation and resolution of high exposure losses and claim file audits. Sharon studied interdisciplinary liberal arts at the San Francisco Art Institute and holds a degree in legal studies. She is also certified in Healthcare Risk Management, a nationally recognized education program sponsored by Finch University and The Chicago Medical School. Sharon joined Hamlin & Burton in January 2004 and works out of Ojai, near Santa Barbara. |
