Jody Weber graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After working as a Community Health Nurse, she attended University of Toledo, College of Law and received her law degree in 1984. Jody practiced law in Toledo, Ohio with a firm specializing in the defense of medical malpractice cases where she tried numerous cases to verdict. In 1998, Jody became Litigation Counsel for Manor Care, a nationwide long term care company, where she was involved in claims management and risk management issues. In 2003 she became Associate General Counsel, Litigation for Beverly Enterprises, another national long term care company in a similar capacity. Jody moved to Chicago, Illinois where she became licensed to practice law in 2005 and joined a Chicago law firm where she exclusively represented nursing homes in medical malpractice and Nursing Home Care Act litigation. Jody has also completed Alternate Dispute Resolution, Negotiation and Mediation training at the University of Chicago, Graham School. Ms. Weber serves our clients from Downtown Chicago, Illinois. |
